When did you start listening to Pearl Jam?

I stared listen to them almost a year ago my best freind introduce me to alot of bands and this is one of the bands i really like

I started listening to them in 1992. Though I loved the song and video "Alive", I quickly became tired of them at the time.

I started listening to them when they started playing their music on the radio in the early 90s. Then, fairly quickly, I stopped.

I don't listen to Pear Jam a lot but I listened to the songs that played on the radio & after i got internet in summer or 2001; I got their stuff but I never really listened a lot. There was NO defining moment or anything when I suddenly put em on or anything

like the post above I started listening to Pearl Jam in 2005 which was my first year of high school...that's when I realized I hated Fly92.3 (RB, Hip Hop, Rap) and started listening to Rock/Alternative channels

hm... don't know exactly. maybe two years ago? I know that it was when I first heard the song "Jeremy" and fell in love with them.

When I was about 10; they were at the height of their powers. I think I stopped following them after they released "No Code" their last good album before they degenerated into what seemed like bad garage band a group of millionaires did as a hobby.

If you like Pearl Jam check out Mother Love Bone. Pretty much the same lineup but with a glam-rock, Robert Plant/David Bowie-inspired frontman (Andrew Wood). This lasted until 1991 when Wood died of a heroin overdose. Vedder was taken in as a replacement and the group was rechristened Pearl Jam.

circa 2001 - one of the few bands I started listening to at the time that still holds true today!!

I still don't like them but I actually have to listen to them at work, so over a year ago, when I started working at this radio station.
