It just kinda rolled out as my mom was rushing me around as I just woke up

Zero to B**ch in .06 seconds

I soak the morning into every pore
of my skin,
warming my blood slowly like long... saturating bath.
Each yawn, inhailing the lazy, content air...as the sun
greets me, shyly, peeking behind the mountianous curtains inching onto the stage of the day.

A rushing voice torpedoes the room, shattering the quiet air into millions of shards,
some of them splinter my nerves,
laying there, sizzling like live wires on the ground,
about to be walk on.

Morning has come.

your welcome, and thank you, I love poetry...been writing for 19 years. Every poem teaches me something else about poetry and myself.

So do you ever have moments like that??
