Anybody enjoys it?

I don't mean ideology, it doesn't matter, but beauty of f.e. Propaganda-posters, music, fashion, architecture or movies. Artistic side of Totalitarianism.
Because it all has its own kind of beauty, it's simple and "says what it thinks". In its own way.

I think you don't know Polish propaganda-posters, so I have to show you them. If you want me to translate, don't fear :D

PRL Posters
PRL means Polska Rzeczpospolita Ludowa - People's Republic of Poland. My birthcertificate has PRL's logo, it makes me happy :D

I am dietician and lacto-vegan, so I think you understand it's my favourite poster (ofc it's not PRL):

It's not a thread only for Polish people! If "only for", it brings to my mind this:

And if you want to understand Polish posters, I can translate. I'm Polish :D

One video (ya, ONE VIDEO! ) of Laibach, great TotalitArt band. His pronunciation hurts my ears, but song is still good:

Is there some linguistic confusion here between Polish and German?

Can't get enough of it. Have you ever heard Laibach and seen their NSK artwork?

I have a book called Soviet Posters which is full of Soviet era propaganda and another book by the same publisher called North Korean Posters. It's political porn as much as I disagree with the ideologies. I love the architecture too. You like the futurists?

I used to have a whole book of propaganda art (I think it was called 'Selling the War', the author or compiler was named Zeman)...I've had some fun with it over the years...

I posted Laibach above your post, but I guess I have never heard them
I like Futurists, Dadaists, Surrealists and their wordgames. Have you heard about surrealist Piotr Marek?

Sand: About language confusion: no, all is ok. Phrases only for, tylko dla and nur für have the same Thoughtpicture, so I wrote it's the association. I write only for Polish, I see picture nur für Deutsche. It's automatic :D

So if Laibach, here's their greatest hit - Tanz mit Laibach. I listen to it in the gym, it's so rhythmic-running :D

Do you like the uniforms?

I'd like to design my own uniforms some day. :)

Didn't see your Laibach link. Tanz Mit Laibach is their weak dance-floor hit though!

Try some Final Coundown:

Or Life is Life:

One of my favorite texts is "The Art of Noise" from The Futurist Manifesto. Curious about Piotr Marek. I like some surrealism but usually it has to contain social commentary.

I like the situationists too. They were like dadaist propganda art mixed with a circus show.

OK, I have to try more simple:

I KNOW Laibach. Very well. REALLY. I know these videos. And I know more. I post them in "What are you listening" thread. I was on their concerts. I'm NSK citizen. I KNOW LAIBACH'S ART, REALLY!

Nevermind above, if uniforms, here's Von Thronstahl's Dressed in black uniforms

I'm a citizen too. I own the original NSK art book and have been to 4 of their shows. Nice to meet another Laibach person here. I love how they've created their own nation full of popaganda art and exploited the totalitarian aesthetic to fight against it. So many people miss the point of what they're doing.

Von Thronstahl sounds good. Really good. So do a lot of other martial neofolk bands. Though you wouldn't catch me at one of those shows.

I promise to translate Russian posters when I'll be back, I must go out for a moment. But it's possible I won't understand all... as many as I can :D
And if you want translation from German, I can help too.

So I wear my Volk cap:

and see you soon! :D

Digging the hat with your hair. Where are you from? I think Volk was an underrated album. People were expecting another Opus Dei.
