I know this is art, music, writing but I consider stand-up comedy to be in the same kind of league. Robert Schimmel was a great comedian. The same vein as like George Carlin or Bill Hicks.

i liked his routine about the roto rooter lower GI exam he went through a few decades back.

Great comic. I feel bad for his daughter though. She was driving when their car accident happened. She must be heartbroken.

i have a feeling he is up in heaven laughing about his daughter's driving doing him in when everything else failed to do the job.
