Does anybody really like some of the R&B and Hip-Hop songs from the 1990s? I took a liking to several songs from the aforementioned genres that came out in the '90s, which I am about to post. If there are some songs you like, then post them. :)

Waterfalls - TLC - 1995

No Diggity - Blackstreet - 1996

No Scrubs - TLC - 1999

Say My Name - Destiny's Child - technically, this song was released in January, 2000, but it was recorded in '99

I personally don't REALLY like it, though I'm okay with Destiny's Child and similar stuff. It's hard to resist busting out "U Can't Touch This" when you're hard at work on your buddy's car and you want to bash it with a hammer.

The early to mid 90s were THE best time for R&B and Hip Hop. The autotuned, talentless mess that the radio is usually blaring as R&B and Hip Hop recently is garbage.

Great mentions in the first post. If I remember to I will post some good music too.

I had a soft spot for slick 90's r&b girl groups.

I had an eargasm when i played GTA: San Andreas and turned into the rap channels and heard Bizmarkie for the first time in over 15 years...

Yeah, some great tunes posted already in this thread. I just don't think R&B these days has much to offer like it did in the 90's.
