Not a very high percentage of the present membership of this site will remember the 1960s Gerry Anderson space puppet show Fireball XL5, which was shown on UK television, but not sure about other parts of the world. Anyway, this song was played along with the closing titles: very enjoyable, I think!

....and here is the opening sequence to the show, followed by the end titles and a partial rendition of the song. The pilot of the spacecraft is Steve Zodiac, and to his right you can see Robert the Robot, lol. Other characters were Venus, professor of Space Medicine or something, Dr Matthew Matic (don't ask, I've forgotten) and a strange animal called 'Zoonie', or something like that.

Here's the end sequence to another Gerry Anderson show, Stingray from the mid-1960s. I can remember virtually nothing about it, except that Troy Tempest, the captain of the underwater craft (Stingray) obviously had a fascination with Marina, who was some sort of semi-mermaid entity.

GRONIBARD - Fast Gays of Humanity

Kinda sounds like Last Days of Humanity. 8)

Have an idea for a dance for this, but have to wait until my downstairs neighbor leaves.

Moby Dick. About a guy who chases something, and drowns in the sea. If I remember the book plot...correctly. It's been so many years since I read it.

One of the funniest songs I've ever heard.
