Never heard of 'em. I thought it was just a line of magical gibberish from the movie 'Excalibur.'

If that's not, it's close to it.

Thrash Metal isn't any more intense, to be honest, but it's still pretty good anyways so try listening to it anyways.

Fighting to be the "most extreme metal band in the world" is like fighting to be the "fastest guitar player ever", at this point: It's a uphill battle, and a stupid one anyways. By now I'd say we've pretty much reached the maximum for these, no one will be the most extreme. There's likely tons and tons of bands occupying and tying the "#1 spot" for that.

Last I checked The Berzerker was the most extreme band in the world. The thing is Berzerker is actually GOOD. Well thought lyrics, even if they compress 5 minutes worth of lyrics in a 2 minute space with their speed. I can actually growl No One Wins and Reality.

Most extreme metal band? No. Most extreme black metal band? Probably.
