Music to me is a very powerful tool and since I can't quite grasp playing a guitar good enough to play in a band, I have started writing songs and lyrics in hopes that one of my many friends who have band experience will allow me to be their singer.
Now I'm influenced by bands like Tool, Breaking Benjamin, Deftones, Metallica, and many others in the rock/metal/alternative genre so when you see my lyrics think that kind of song...
So here's a song called "Safe Haven" (I thought it was ironic how this forum has a 'The Haven' so I'd thought this would be a good first preview.)

If you still don't understand any part of the song (like my dots used for length and the phonetics) just ask...it's kind of hard to do without actually singing it so I wrote it in a way so you could sign it yourself, and w/o music involved makes it tough...I know what it sounds like but can't play it
