A writers forum where the current membership is 100% Aspie!

Well, yeah, it's a new forum that currently has only one member. But if enough of you join up, it will remain mostly Aspie.

Whether you write odd little poems as a form of therapy or are a Serious Published Novelist, there is a place for you on the new forum. It's at http://perseverations.maxforum.org/

The forum includes 'NaNoWhateverMo', a NaNoWriMo alternative where you set the word count goal and the time frame.

I'd could also use some help with forum ranks, I'd like to have writing-related ones, like scribbler, poet, novelist, and whatever. Any suggestions???

I think it's a great idea. I'm signed up for NaNoWriMo but am finding the boards so big and "fast" ( threads appear and disappear at lightspeed ), that am not connecting/settling in very well, and feel the need for somewhere smaller where writers can exchange ideas, discuss issues, vent, give and get support, etc.

And I totally agree that people on the spectrum have certain weaknesses/difficulties aswell as strengths which make writing a different sort of process/struggle than for NTs.

Is anyone actually active on the forum? Besides me?

Ive been trying to work on a short story for the forum. I look, but I don't always respond unless something catches my interest. Its one of those things bout being on the spectrum I think, hence the low traffic.

OK, the old forum is down, I made the mistake of using the wrong forum host. I now have a new version on proboards.

The new forum is Lina Lamont Writers Group. It's connected to my blog, The Lina Lamont Fan Club, which is mostly about science fiction.
