Goodness... I have a rule on my iTunes that when my most-played song reaches a play count of 1000, I reset the play counts for all my files. I've had to do it 3 times, and I've also changed laptops twice, over the past few years... I can listen to the same song on repeat for days, sometimes even weeks! My parents always told me I'd get sick of it if I did that, which ends up being true, but then I just listen to something else on repeat, and something else... and eventually I end up listening to the same songs I used to listen to :D

I tend to like dance and trance a lot, though I also like some folk and easy-listening. Three of my favourite songs in the world are I Remember/Deadmau5 and Kaskade, Brazil (2nd edit)/Deadmau5, and Every Other way (Armin van Buuren remix)/BT featuring Jes.

I really like Deadmau5

Always, and it's never the same song, it tends to be the latest song I find. XD

Right now it's Serenade of Flames by serenity, can't find a youtube of it, it's a relatively unknown song.

No. That would drive me mad. It's rare that I'll listen to one genre repeatedly, let alone one song.

Everyone thinks it's really crazy, but if I like a song, it'll be on repeat for hours, sometimes days or weeks.

I'll usually latch onto a song, or a block of songs on the same album, for a few weeks. Lately, it's been Mr. Crowley, Steal Away the Night, and Over the Mountain by Ozzy. Next week, it may be Spheres of Madness by Decapitated, or Through the Fire and the Flames by Dragonforce, who knows?

I do that too. I'll play it over and over agin, whether on my Ipod or in my head. It will usually last a few days or a week, then I'll find a new song and continue the cycle.

I will hold on to a song for decades. Right now my top three are:

Hurricane-Thirty Seconds to Mars

Worth Fighting For-My Darkest Days

Man in the Mirror-Michael Jackson (oddly enough)

I just got over When Doves Cry by Prince in the past few mths. I'm also one who puts it on repeat for hours or days or months but I have an ipod. I'll even listen to it in my sleep or else I won't sleep.

Last.fm says I've listened to the song "Get Away" by Yuck about 90 times in the past 3 months. Most of this is because I'll play the song once... and then I'll want to hear it 20 more times.

I tend to do so, yes.
