This is the official flag of the Creedon Republic.

The nation that stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific Oceans. It is located on the Subcontinent of Creedonia, a geological remnant of the former supercontinent of Laurasia and sits precariously atop North America. If one were to look at the geology of the Creedonian subcontinent, one would find rocks common to both Europe and North America.

The Creedon Republic was founded in July, 1666 by Elias Creedon, an Irish immigrant who had been persecuted in Ireland for his Deist beliefs. Before ultimately reaching Creedonia, he sailed for Amsterdam and found more people to follow him to a place where "A church will not govern our abilities." The reply was great and they sailed to what is present day Nantucket, Peter State. In a small house he had quickly constructed on Sunset Hill, Elias wrote the Proclamation of the Republic, a document in which the country was founded upon....

The government is a republic.

The culture is based off of Britain and America during the Victorian and Edwardian Eras.

It's been the flag since the beginning. The stars on the flag represent the original families that came and settled. The 1666 is the year that the republic was founded. The laurels represent empire.

It is. Note that the Creedon Republic does not have any overseas colonies, like the hated English.

Many nationalities settle there. At first, the primary language was Gaelic, but then English was brought to favor.
