Any other writers out there have what I guess I'd call 'associative playlists'? Basically, songs that you associate with one writing project or another.

I have one for virtually every major project I work on; my most extensive playlist being the one related to my novel, Post Black, at 152 core songs so far. All the music in there relates in some way to the different characters' relationships, plot events, atmosphere, and general whatever of the whole thing. I listen to it most of the time when I'm working on it.

Anyone else do this kind of thing?

What, nobody? Am I the only writer here that does it?
