Has anyone here read any of his books? I was thinking about reading his autobiography "Trading my sorrows" and his newest book "Paper genders". For those of you who don't know Walt Heyer, he's a man who had a sex changed and then changed back to male. The main message in his book is that sex change surgery is harmful and that there are other ways to cope with Gender identity disorder. His newest book is brings up several ways, other than hormones and surgery, to cope with GID and I'm very interested in hearing another point of view.
