This story is a statire on modern evangelism, particularly the idea of washing away your sins. This is a story about a river, a clear river with holy powers. It has the power to wash away all your wrong doings, if you're convicted of a crime you did, they say once you baptize yourself in these waters, the prosecution will drop the case. If you eat too much, they say you won't gain weight for a week. No matter what your sin, this river will wash it away. The story follows 7 - characters each one embodying a sin - as they become addicted to the river. Each time they wash off their sins, the river runs a bit darker, until one day the river runs black. Will they venture into the waters one more time?
