What do you guys think of the band Korn? They are my favorite band. The anger and heaviness expressed through their music is something I can relate to. I like them so much that my signature is a quote from one of their songs.

Anyway, what are your favorite albums and songs by Korn? My favorite album is probably the first one. My favorite songs include Need To, Clown, Dirty, No One's There, and Here to Stay.

The first two albums are probably the only nu-metal worth listening to. There are a couple of songs on albums 3 and 4 that I like, but everything I've heard since then has made me think that I'm not missing out on much. I'll most likely always remember Korn as one of the bands I listened to before I discovered real metal.

Agreed.

Their last album was actually pretty decent. But ever since Jonathan Davis tried to sing.......its just awful. Yes, he has a "unique" voice, but I just miss the days where he'd spazz out and scream and all that.

Their last album was a step in the right direction, but apparently their next one will be dubstep influenced

The first two albums were the best. But I wouldn't say the other albums were bad. I like all of them. The thing I like about each album that it is different from the last. Although I do admit, the guitar work has been lacking since Head left...

I know most people like Korn, but i really really really detest them. They are nothing but crap nu-metal.

Well, whether someone likes them or not is of opinion. From my perspective, they saved my life and helped me when I needed it most. I feel like they understand me, and I am able to express myself through them, because I not only have aspergers, but an additional 'Expressive Language Disorder'. I do not believe in genre, I am an artist, and they to me, are raw and true emotion. They brought me 'humanity' and 'reality'...

I stopped following them after their Take A Look In The Mirror album. Ive been listening to techno/electronica/dance since then, but most of high school was hardrock / metal.

They and Godsmack saved me through high school too.

hopefully the dubstep influences are only there to add to the style of Korn and that Korn not sacrifice their style in pursuit of this genera. I hope this track that was remixed by skrillex is not an indication of things to come. It's not that bad as a collaboration dubstep track for skrillex, but not as a track on a korn album.
