Quote:
Billy Haskill was the last person to be diagnosed with a psychological condition. When I say last, I mean right before then, he was the only person in the world without some type of diagnosed psychological condition. He was diagnosed with type 1 mediocrity disorder.
A man with questioning syndrome wonders
"How could this happen?"
People wanted an excuse for their shortcomings, and psychologists wanted to feel that they were doing something. Someone recognized that this in itself was a psychological condition and soon psychologists were diagnosed with a "psychology complex" - a fixation of analyzing mental illness.
Psychology complex is a debilitating condition that prevents the person from ever listening. Instead of listening, the subject constantly analyzes what catagories of mental condition a phrase or sentence falls into.
Instead of hearing "I walked my dog to the park". the psychologist hears "fixation with animals, possible aspergers, indicates social isolation," The subject may appear to be listening, but infact he is only concerned with labeling you with some type of mental condition.
He may ask you a question like "Do you walk your dog often?" if you reply "yes", the subject hears
"Short walks, consistent with schizophrenia." etc, etc
