I mean I like power metal and maybe it's the nostalgia and also that I don't know 80% of what he's saying, but this song is temporarily raping the hell out of my depression...I feel like I can work productively on my stats project right now.

I love Devin Townsend's album Ziltoid the Omniscient.

My own recomendation would be Supernaut by Black Sabbath. One of my all time favorite songs.

or Eat the Rich, by Krokus.

If you can settle for power punk/pop, I'd recommend just about anything by Me First, and the Gimmie Gimmies, or PUSA...
