I composed this 5-voiced polyphonic renaissance-style music back in 2009/2010. Then I tried to play around with it and inserting a Cello-soundfont which I altered to sound more like a viola da gamba.

I would like to know what you think of it.

It's all MIDI.

It's relaxing. It would be a nice opening soundtrack to some midieval set movie or for a menu to some midieval-set videogame.

very cool, gloomy and romantic, love the interplay between the different harmonys.

did you use any software to compose the different parts (*while using the midi for input)?

I use FL Studio and just played around. I didn't play it on a midi-keyboard, just a regular PC-keyboard.

Although this melody is a bit special... I just popped up in my head as I played around with FL Studio. All of a sudden I had created this piece. There's no actual system in this. It comes from... I don't know...
