I thought I would showcase the talents of the girl I am mentoring...she doesn't mind me spreading the word about her talent, so I thought WP would be a good place to start.

This is Victoria, and this is herheartfelt, original song she wrote about growing up with AS and feelings of being broken and damaged.

Given a “tentative” diagnosis as a child as I needed services at school for what was later correctly discovered to be a major anxiety disorder.

This misdiagnosis caused me significant stress, which lessened upon finding out the truth about myself from my current and past long-term therapists - that I am an anxious and highly sensitive person but do not have an autism spectrum disorder.

My diagnoses - social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I’m no longer involved with the ASD world.

Wonderful name broken wires.
A great talent indeed.

I know so many creative folk with AS whose
Aspie-ness goes well under the diagnostic
radar because they don't fit the geek left-
brain steriotype, so i am really pleased that
with you posting this video you are playing
Yr part in breaking this helpful steriotype.
