Well. Song is probably not the right word, since I'm not singing.
Hm. Actually I AM singing, but it's so processed it sounds like something else.
It's a darkish ambient affair, I guess.

Don't expect a beat.

Unspecified,
Great track! Dark and beautiful. 8)

What software do you use to process your voice?

Just out of curiosity, how many tracks did you mix for that? Is it ALL just your processed vocals? Sounds like some other mixed with it.

Nice ambience anyway! Good development throughout it.

Thanks.

No, it's not only voice. I use the Reaktor synth Skanner, and there's guite a bit of guitar in there as well. I don't usually mix 'tracks' for this kind of stuff, though. I try to record a performance, so it's mixed on the fly as I try to do it all 'live'. I recorded the synth first, then added vox and guit afterwards, plus some other snacks.
The trick is to set up the signal paths before you start... :)

This one is 100% live, vox and guit only. One pass:

I like this one too.
I'd imagine this is what it sounds like to be on Jupiter. In fact, this reminds me a bit of the music that was used on Carl Sagan's Cosmos.

I'm not familiar with " Reaktor synth Skanner" - cool

Sorry, I didn't notice the question about what I use to process my voice...
I use all sorts of stuff, really, but on these ones I use loads of looooong reverbs set to 100% wet (meaning you don't hear the input vocals, only the processed sound. Attack and stuff gets hidden in the haze...)
I often use fuzz pedals and old tape echo machines and weird digital granulators and such.

Skanner is a synthesizer made for the program called Reaktor. It's a cool instrument that does very screwed up things if you let it... :)

Glad you liked it.
