Any thoughts?
As I am sitting inside a glass box, what do I see on the outside? I see many faces looking toward me with an expression that reads they are questioning what they know from their eyes. Sweat is dripping down the side of my head and I am shaking continuously. I fear the consequences if the box shatters. The box loosens a bit. I suddenly feel arms grapple around my chest and I get a warm feeling. When I tilt my head backwards to see who it is, it is my lover that is covered by red roses everywhere. I am given the gift of love. These tiny seeds begin to slide of their arms and sink into my skin. I suddenly see blue roses growing out of my skin. I will be their blue rose garden. They will be my red rose garden. I can see their lips but not their face. They can see my lips but not my face. Our lips touch and when I look up at the top of the glass box, the center of the box is starting to melt. The fear has come back to me. The lover takes me away from fear and gives me another kiss. The third kiss goes on for so long. I look around and the box has melted. These people around me are smiling. I feel happiness and confidence instead of depression and fear. I see my lover’s face after I blink and I grasp the name after the roses have disappeared off the both of us. I would have suffocated if the box kept me inside forever.
