"I've seen it happen in other people's lives, now it's happening in mine" from "That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore" reminds me of Ian Curtis' point of view in "She's Lost Control", because he watched someone else who had epilepsy have an attack before he knew he had epilepsy and wrote a song about it. Both groups were from Manchester, so maybe it's possible that Morrisey had Ian in mind when he wrote the song.

"Our House", by Madness, which is more mainstream than what I usually listen to, reminds me of squatting because of the imagery in the video and the lyrics sounding like it parodies family.

Do any song lyrics make you think of something else, unrelated to yourself, when you listen to them?

A jerk I went to HS with made me think of "You're So Vain."

Whenever I feel too angry or mixed about something inside makes me think of "Animal I have Become" by Three Days Grace.
