I am writing this thread to promote a new boyband called IM5, Which was put together by Perez Hilton, Jamie King and S Club 7 Creator, Simon Fuller. Jamie King and Simon Fuller are also working together alongside Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony in the new Latin talent show Q'Viva. Perez Hilton described IM5 as a boyband for a new millenium. Click here for more information. Here is a cover of Jessie J song, Domino by IM5.

What do you think of the band?

I don't enjoy that type of music at all, so my opinion isn't really important here, but it's still  if you ask me.

Good Lord. I though the production line for these plastic things was shut down years ago.
Sorry; it's awful from top to bottom.

And I thought their factories had moved from America to East Asia, where they go by names like Super Junior, TVXQ, and Arashi.

WEll, I say, more power to them, if there's an audience. I enjoyed a fair bunch of boy bands in my childhood, I'm not ashamed to say, but I guess these IM5 guys are just not for me.

Sad to say but in an age of freely downloadable music, the fact that the major label music industry resorting to excreting cheesy crap such is this to make a quick buck is going to get more commonplace. BTW.... is it prodigious talent, or prodigious use of Antares AutoTune?

A few years from now, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the members of IM5 writes a tell-all memoir of how they had to do weird things of a sexual nature with Simon Fuller or one of the other manufacturers of this 'band' in order to become a member.

Firstly, there is no Auto tune in this band, and secondly they are playing their own instruments. They may be cheesy and not the greatest thing in the world, but they are only harmless fun and we aspies must tolerate them.

Yes, we must tolerate all forms of music. What if your girlfriend likes them? If you want respect from a girlfriend, you must respect her by respecting the bands or artists that she likes. My list of favorite music artists are very diverse and I am proud of it.

They don't look five. I feel swindled.

I will not tolerate any form of music that I find disagreeable and will either switch it off or move away so I can't hear it. I see no reason to tolerate what is beyond toleration; no reason to tolerate mass-produced pap masquerading as talent.

Note that this has no bearing on anyone wishing to generate this noise: that's their choice and, sadly, I expect they'll do very well from it - for a year or so, until the next model is released. So good luck to then, but I'll not be contributing to their earnings.

There are still boy bands?

I thought this media dump had already been flushed. Time to call the plumber.

Also, I know who Simon Fuller is but who is Perez Hilton? Did they have an adoptee from Latin America?
