Music and the bands I listen to are my life. I try to mix into the crowd when there's a concert, try to stand in the front row, but once the crowd gets pushy, I can't concentrate on the music anymore, and several times I just snapped, panicked and turned around and tried to get out of the crowd as soon as I can. Is there anything I can do about this?

I love to go to shows, and I like to be close to the front, but I will always stand a bit off to the side. The crowd is less pushy there, and I have an easier escape route when I need it.
The only bad part is being so close to the speaker stacks-the volume can get a bit overwhelming and I'm sure it's part of why my hearing is not what it was.

I don't know, sorry. I have the same problem. It depends on the layout of the venue- you could use the seating in an arena, though I hate the sound quality and atmosphere from there. :( Maybe just work your way to the front row at the start then take a break when you can't take anymore and rejoin at the back/sides? Not the best idea but i'm not sure if there is a good one...
