Alligator Sky and Space: Above & Beyond

Hey, I've just gotten into listening to the Owl City music, but Alligator Sky sounds really awesome (both versions) and I think the version without the rap component would go well with clips from the show Space Above & Beyond. The one with the rap component could go well with clips from the Shane Vansen episode Dark Side Of The Sun, but either way, I think preliminarily the part "where was I when the rockets carried you away..." could be coordinated with the launching of the Telus colony ship which had Lt. Nathan West's fiancee Kylen aboard, and clips of his training in the marine corp and combat with the enemy fighters could be coordinated with "even though I'll never know what's up ahead, I'm never letting go." IDK, what does anyone think? I'm no good with video editing and don't know what would be considered acceptable with copyright laws, but if anyone would care to make such a composition in a legal manner it would be very cool to see in my opinion at least.
