here is a story I am writing. Enjoy how it is so far. This all I have written of it. The name is the title of the thread.

Introduction: Dreams

Mormal, a female Jabbernak, who are one of the tallest humaniods of the surface that are not either monsters or immortals, was dreaming about herself walking through a sea of black mist as spiky spires stuck out like dark obelisks of evil gods of old. Rivers of blood flowed hideously from an evil stony mountain. Dead bodies hung in the air as if they were suspended by invisible ropes from invisible trees. Barbed wire was wrapped around their heads and the eyes replaced with glass ones. They made the land smell worse than even the sewers and felt like rough gravel.
Before we get any further into the description of what is about to happen in his dream-scape, we will describe how Jabbernaks look like. They are, on average, around six feet tall. Most have almost completely black eyes with a dot of color, but Mormal has almost completely blue eyes and only a dot of black. They have flat, tiny lips which are always the same color of their skin, rendering them completely invisible to the naked eye. Their skin color ranges from a pale blue to a maroon, and then to a pale gold. They have hoofed feet and long, pointed ears that are parrell to the ground. Hair does not cover their body anywhere except for four whiskers, which are long and slightly thick. They have only three fingers, but one of those fingers is an opposable thumb, allowing them to grasp objects and use the same weapons as humans.Instead of nose they have twin nostrils set into the skin half of an inch above their lips.
Now they have been described, we can continue on to what Mormal is doing right now.
She then noticed a man in a conservative black suit with a grizzled face and red bandanna wrapped around his head standing next to her. He is armed with a katana of titanium. By her side as well is her fire druid friend Jalkat ,who is of the same race as her and had a nice dark red skin tone with green eye dots, carrying his staff of bronze and brownish red robes. A gaseous entity appeared. Then a figure arose from the mist; a woman wearing a black dress, with no hair and eyes aglow with yellow light. Four long tendrils sprouted from her back.
Then the others attacked with claw, magic, and sword. She herself took out her crossbow. The being seemed to glance off the attacks to her torso as if they did nothing and kept on fighting until Mormal got the courage to take out her crossbow and aim for the head of the evil being. She succeeded with the task but looked at the corpse in sudden horror. It fell with great vibrating tumors sprouting from it. Then the thing exploded in a mess of yellow, sulfuric ichor.
Then Mormal woke with a start. She looked around and then looked at the clock, a modern digital one. It was 3:00 am. She then relaxed. It was extremely early. She felt a pounding headache.
Her room was made of hazel wood and her bed had blue silk covers with yellow blankets of wool underneath. She has a dresser without doors, and lives on the second floor of a country house nearby the town she works in.
Her dress is green and has two rings that connect the front to the back that are below the neck. It is simple and pretty for daily wear. She chose it because it looked nice with her pale gold skin. Right now it was in the dresser.
Mormal then went back to sleep. It was not the right time to be awake anyway. Nobody wants to wake up that early in the morning. Especially someone who was her age, which is 18 years and half a seasons old. The date is November the twenty-sixth and her life is about to change.

Chapter 1: The Guest

At 7:00 am, Mormal woke from her slumber and slid out of bed. Then she covered herself with a blanket. She went into the bathroom and dropped the blanket because she was about get cleaned. She then got the water running in the bath to a reasonably hot temperature, and went in.
She pondered over the dream until she realized it just didn't make sense. After the pondering, she scrubbed her face and climbed out, dripping wet. Then she brushed her teeth and swished fluoride around.
She opened the door to look if anyone was there. Mormal put on her underwear. Then went into her room and dropped her dress over her head, which is how you put the thing on. She picked up her weapons. After that, she went downstairs and had a scone and cup of green tea. Her father, reading the papers, was to busy to notice Mormal, but her mom asked her how she was doing. Then she leaped outside and ran at full speed, which is thirty-five miles per hour, to Musing, the coffee house she worked at.
It was 8:40 when she got there. The customer hadn't arrived yet, so she turned on the espresso machine and got some coffee to drink. Then the door opened and revealed Jalkat. He smiled and said," Hello, Mormal. You know, I had a strange dream last night."
Mormal then said," I had one to. You were in it as well as a man and a cloud-like being. There was a black mist and spires and creepy corpses in it also."
Jalkat stopped smiling and then said," Woah, my dream had the same people in it as well as the other stuff. It also had an undead lady that you killed and had four tendrils."
Mormal then said,"Yes I killed that thing in my dream, which means we had the same dream but from different perspectives. What does this mean? Did those other two experience the same as well as we did? What if all our lives tied together to go to that awful place and face the demon. But lets not think about that and instead get to what you want."
"I want just some iced coffee."
"That would be two crowns. Do you want cream?"
"Yes. Here you go." Jalkat got out his wallet and took out two gold coins and gave it to her. She smiled and made another coffee and put in a blender with ice. She then blended it together and poured it into a cup. After pouring the combination in the cup, she put whip cream on the top and gave it to him. "Thank you."
Jalkat drank his coffee and continued on with the conversation. “You know, remember that time when I use to play Snake with you?”
“Yes, and that when ever you lost you accidentally burnt the dice? That’s why we stopped playing.”
“Ah, yes. Well now, I think that we-” but then some people started to arrive. Already two male dramer(stout, silicon-based humanoids with beards 5 feet and 6 inches tall) were sitting at the table. The men wore black robes with dancing, orange edges the glowed like their bright gemstone eyes. The robes had caught the attention of Jalkat because he knew they were no less than from the Esoteric Order of the Flaming King, a powerful cult of that is led by the word of their master, the demon Dawn Strider who is sometimes taken by some, especially this cult, a god.
He knew this was not good because the the cult always meant serious trouble. They may be insane demon cultists, but they are also insane fire-wielding demon cultist. Mormal saw them. It did not take a good guess on what they did. Mormal ducked as suddenly a flame burst out, hitting the counter. Jalkat shot his own magic at them. A man was heard screaming. Mormal loaded a bolt into her crossbow and looked out into the chaotic scene of fire.
The blaze had destroyed a few chairs, Jalkat was busy handling the foes, and ashes were on the floor. she shot one of the foes in the head, not totally killing it, but doing enough damage for it to be slightly distracted. Jalkat then gathered enough strength to push one of their spells back at them, pushing the wounded dramer into a wall, knocking the silicon humanoid out.
The other one accidentally tripped on his robe when he saw Mormal and fell to the ground, allowing Jalkat to cracked the silicone skull in with his bronze ruby tipped staff that has at the other blunt end an iron seal. It caused enough damage to allow
Mormal to destroy the being, causing the purple blood to scatter on the ground.
The two got back to their slightly burnt seats, telling the scared onlookers to not panic. They not noticing the suit-wearing male human sitting in a table in the corner.
The man happened to also have a katana strapped to his back diagonally to the right and a sub-machine gun strapped to the back diagonally to the left. He was a bit conservatively dressed except for the red bandanna wrapped around his head. He had a grizzled face that looked like he meant business(no, not corporate business but the ‘I-can-win-a-fight-with-you’ type).
Mormal then looked around and saw the man and gasped. Jalkat followed suit and both of them stared into their eyes and said at the same time, “What in the name of Sanity.” They stared more at the figure, gaping in disbelief.
He look at them and then said, “Why the ‘ell are standing there with your mouths open like a bloody frog? Anyway, wot’s your names?”
Mormal was about to reply when Jalkat said, “I’m Jalkat and this young lady is Mormal. What do you want to talk about?”
“Well, now that I see you I am convinced that the fourth one will arrive sooner or later. Anyway, I think that we should get on the move to the next location. It does not seem safe right now.”
“Why?”said Mormal, wondering how on earth It could not be safe.
“Well, considering the fact this is a populated zone that also happens to be in their new patrol range, we can assume that they would be drawn here. Look, don’t ask questions. My name is Morome. We need to get out of this bloody town now.”

Chapter 2:Red Bureacracy

They left the place as Mormal asked, “Who are they? And why are they patrolling?”and Moromes said,“Tell you later. Just follow me.” He led them to a car and they got into it. The car was a black jeep with a leather interior colored the same. The man started the car and went out onto a country road in the middle of a green field with trees and bush occasionally showing up. As they left they heard the sound of running off into the distance. They then saw a man in ragged clothing going down the country road like he saw the devil yelling, “Run! They are coming, and are going to kill you all!” The man continued running.
“You see?” said Morome, “now do you want to stay?”
“Hmm,” said Mormal, “ I guess you are right, but I think we will stand a better chance than him.” She pulled out her crossbow and rolled down a window and aimed out. She spotted three of men wearing Kevlar armor over the torso, joints, head, and groin with their eyes covered with glass. Leather covered the rest. They carried light machine guns and approached the car.
She then aimed at one of the eyes. She fired and the man fell back, dead, with a bolt sticking through the glass, through the eye, and into the brain of the enemy soldier (a shot that is extremely lucky). They suddenly noticed the small group. The car went faster away from them. The men went toward a transport helicopter to pursuit.
“Oh great, you had to alert them of our presence because you wanted to kill at least one of those goons. Now they are chasing after us. It’s also time we get out of here.” The car went down the road at high speeds being chased by a helicopter that contained the two soldiers shooting at the car. Morome then yelled to Jalkat,” take out the bleeding copter with your magic! If you don’t, we will all be dead!”
The druid shot a sphere of fire that has explosive properties equivalent to a cube of C-4 the size of a grape at the rotors. The hit caused enough in-balance to make the helicopter crash into the mountain that the car was coming closer to.The explosion was devastating as it crumpled the aerial craft like aluminum foil. A blade flew towards the car but did not hit it.
A soldier that survived the deadly flames got up and picked up his gun. Then Mormal noticed this and shot him in the leg, causing him to try to pull the bolt she shot that stuck into his leg out of it. The car went on. Morome then murmured, “Bloody communists. I hate them.”
“So those were communists? I thought they didn't come this far from the Red Bureaucracy. Maybe it was the new helicopters for sweeping the land. We must stop this new development from destroying my homeland. So, where are we?”
Morome answered quickly, “We are approaching the White Mountains. It isn’t empire territory but it is closer to it than your town.” He then got out three umbrellas and said, “You two are going to need these.” He handed Mormal and Jalkat each one umbrellas and turned on the radio to hear the news.
The mans voice said, “Yesterday, the Red Bureaucracy extend their patrol range to one foot from the White Mountains. Today they have set out a bounty of 1,000 crowns to the person who captures three individuals: Mormal Gustri, Morome Philips, and Jalkat Henvri.”
The Morome turned off the news and said, “ Oh great, we have a bounty bigger than a bloody elephant on us that could mean serious trouble for us. They are going to post the wanted sign all across the entire bloody world to tell bounty hunters to kill us. We have to get to the Empire before some sneaky bastard child of a monkey tracks us down.”
They suddenly heard a sound like a roaring engine. Mormal looked back. Three motorcycles were following them. She saw the occupants were wearing the same armor. She yelled, “look out!” as the soldiers lifted their guns to fire. Mormal ducked inside just in time as the bullets flew past them.
Jalkat suddenly formed a flame sphere and took out one of the motorcycles. It exploded as the driver was flung back on the road, which happened to be going downwards, toward the plain. Mormal shot another driver in the arm, who drove into the last motorcycle. The crash that followed soon had slain both men in another explosion of fire and metal.
The car drove on, passing through the mountains peacefully without further attack until the day reached to a close. The group of adventures stopped at a small wooden inn. Rain was pouring. Mormal was cold, as well as Jalkat, but they went on into the place.
The smallish wooden hut was warm. A single old man was in there. The nose a was roman, as well as his hair grey and long. The beard he had was also long enough to touch the waist. Wrinkle seemed to seep into the skin just as well as water into a sponge. He said that he had beds for all of them.
Mormal was huddled by the fire with a blanket covering her. She was sipping from a cup of hot tea. It refreshed her mind and she started first on the Red Bureaucracy. What complete barbarians, she thought scathingly, to have no consideration for a populated town. I hate this new patrol range, seeing it covers such a wide area that isn't only not only very far away, but also not in their territory.
She removed the blanket and went to bed. The two others stood guard outside in the rain. They too thought about the Red Bureaucracy, but they involved a lot more shooting and explosions.
Jalkat was making a small fire to dry himself off and Morome was watching the skies for helicopters that could attack at any moment they were there. They did not see anything besides a fox, an owl, and some rabbits.
Jalkat sat lazily with the umbrella over his head and a small fire beside him while Morome sat by looking at the sky and land around the two. He went inside and saw Mormal sitting by the fire. “Hey, Mormal,” He said, “You were great out there.”
“Thanks. I wonder where we are going to. He has a destination in mind, and I was wondering what it was. I think it is somewhere in the Empire. You know, I think this is a great adventure. I know you might think it is a drag, but tomorrow, we will be in the Empire, and it’s better than being in Lackely, which is in patrol zone. Let’s go to sleep.” The two crawled into bed and said goodnight. They then fell asleep, and fell into the mists of troubled dreams about the Red Bureaucracy and the people she had killed that day, bounty hunters, and above all else, the white woman with the eyes of yellow.

Chapter 3: The Troll

The trio went into the car, thanking the old man for letting them use his residence who said, “be careful on the road!”, and went on until their path was blocked by a rock fall. The group got out and inspected it until they heard a roaring noise from behind. They looked around to see a large, muscular man with leathery, green skin and the eyes of a boar. Tusks protruded from the mouth and the face was one of extremely low intelligence and beauty. He was ten feet tall and carried a club that had a large spike in it.
Mormal said in a somewhat panicked voice, “Damn! A troll!” Jalkat then threw at the tall being a small sphere of fire that hit the troll in the eye. The beast ran strait at the three heroes but they the moved out of they way so that the monster collided with the rockfall, causing a concussion. This allowed Morome to get up and shoot the thing in the head directly through the iris at point-blank range. It took a full clip, but the being died and dissolved away into grey sand, allowing them to tend to the car.
The car was not badly damaged, so they were able to get from that point to the entrance of the empire. They approached the gate. two turrets were on the top and three empire troops wearing their green berets with sunglasses and cameo uniforms. They carried shotguns that had a flashlight attached to the bottom of the gun’s front. One of them approached the trio and said, “Oi! Who is it?”
Morome called out, “ It’s me, Morome. Here, I will show I.D. I have two others with me.” The car drove up and the soldiers saw them. Morome showed the I.D and the gates were opened.
“Get in, agent 0241,” one of troops said. He had a short sword in his belt instead of a knife and his beret was black with the letters S,W, and S written in capitol block letters on a gold badge pinned to the hat. He was a jabbernak with purple skin with a missing left eye covered by a eye patch. He had a scar going across from the left eye brow to his right cheek. The voice was smooth, almost like a refreshing stream. “It’s good to have you back. We heard the news about the bounty. I thought you had died.”
Morome laughed and said, “Well, it seems like you are never going to get rid of me. Mormal, Jalkat, let me introduce Ralph Helski. He’s a friend who I used to work with.” They all shook hands with him and went through. The gate closed and they drove the car to the nearby airbase so it would be replaced with a small plane with routes to Marian Teren, The jabbernak capitol.
The three went in and got into their seats. Then the plane took off. They felt time pass slowly as the plane went on its way. It went on like this until an alarm was sent that said, “Hijackers! They are on board! Alert the air-force!”

Chapter 4: A Mile Above Sea Level

Mormal got up as well as the rest of the trio. She opened the door and three unarmored men wearing red pants, turtlenecks, and caps carrying automatic pistols rushed in. The Mormal shut the door as they were lifting their guns to fire. The bullets hit the door causing slight damage. Moromes murmured something about the Red Bureaucracy and their soldiers. She then heard voices that said, “Vurtz!” and the door fell down.
As the two ran in, Morome (who happened to be carrying his weapon) shot two men down with a hail of lead while Mormal dispatched the third with her hoof, busting the skull inward. She picked up one of the guns on the ground and crouched down. behind of a seat row. A man walked in and moved towards her when she took him out with a stab with her knife to the jugular, causing instantaneous death. His blood sprayed out like a faucet.
She then ran with the rest of her allies toward the door and opened it, showing them the back of an enemy soldier. His throat was slit with the knife Mormal carried and then they ran down further. They entered to see two remaining hijackers that were going toward the cockpit. Mormal shot two bursts into both of them, kill the two men.
Then they felt the airplane dropping in height until it crashed into the ground. The roar of fire and explosions was tremendous until the three heroic adventurers blacked out and consciousness faded.
Mormal waked to find Jalkat standing over her with Morome nearby. They picked her up and then she got herself up saying indignantly, “You don’t have to carry me like I’m a little kid. I’m awake.”
The two others were smiling and then Morome said, “Now were in the bloody world are we? Now we spent an hour in the plane before the hijackers came and the plane was travelling about one thousand miles per hour from the border placing us in Vatersburg.”
They looked around and saw that a few pleasant, little medieval cottages with gardens in front of each one that were scattered around a hill with a castle on it. a woods was nearby. They went toward the town with the sole purpose of getting there. Mormal then said, “Race you two to there.” Then she started running like a vicious, snowy juggernaut was rolling down the hill toward them. The others ran, too. Moromes then jumped in the air and grabbed a branch. He swung off and jumped onto Jalkat’s shoulders and using them as a spring board. Then he slid down the hill they were down going on. He then saw ramp coming toward him and flew off it onto a roof of a house. He then ran on the rooftops and then jumped in front of the teenage jabbernaks, causing bewilderment between the two. Moromse then said, “Let’s head over to the bloody castle now.” He ran towards the castle after that statement.
Mormal said to Jalkat then, “Come on, let’s go follow him.” The two ran headlong toward the castle and went there immediately.

Chapter 5: The Castle

As Mormal, Jalkat, and Moromes entered the castle, an eight foot tall man was following them. He was hairless with pointy ears and gills. He entered the castle and then stood still.
Mormal was running toward the castle’s small, Gothic chapel after the Moromes started to go their. She opened the door first and got inside. The two others got in too, and they decided what to do next.
“Lets play Snake!”suggested Moromes as he pulled out two dice, a piece of plain white paper, and a pencil. He drew two columns with six rows. Mormal agreed with the answer, “alright; I’m betting two crowns.”
The game snake is played like this: You roll two dice until you get snake eyes and then you count how many points you got from that time. You do this five times and find the average. The person whose average is closest to fifteen wins.
Mormal was good at this game because she learned a trick that gets you snake eyes every time you use it. The game that the two were playing was tough to call who was victor until after thirty minutes, Morome rolled snake eyes right after he got exactly fifteen points. He beat Mormal and got her two crowns she put into the game.
The two suddenly felt the door open and there was the tall man. He looked at them as light appeared in his hands. The two jabbernaks were very frightened, but Moromes ran at the man and shot at him while yelling a curse. The man shot a blast of light at Moromes chest, causing him to fall back onto the ground. Mormals fear turned to anger and she got her crossbow out and fired a single bolt into the man’s head, killing the evil magician instantaneously. He exploded into a thousand shades of light grey, cyan, and white. Moromes got up, hurt but still alive, saying, “That thing, wotever it was, is now dead. Let’s go from this bloody castle. That was a bad shade that I hope we never have to meet again.” Then Morome fell unconscious and Mormal, with the help of Jalkat, carried him out. They passed rows of hedges and strange statues that appeared to them as mournful old jabbernaks saying, “Go away,” over and over again. Gnarled, leafless trees looked like naked old hags that cried, “Cursed” and “Stay away” menacingly in deep, cracked voices. Swords were stuck in the ground and ghosts seemed to hover about, screaming.
They went down the path and exited the castle as the two jabbernaks sped towards the countryside, filled by terror of night visions and ghoulish faces. They went into the countryside. That night, sleep did not come to Mormal and Jalkat.

Chapter 6: The Walking
The small encampment Mormal, Jalkat, and Moromes had made two days from when the plane crashed. Mormal had remembered that night with a chill. The man, the trees, the gargoyles. The setting was grim as the dream on the first day of the adventure the whole group had. Her dress had been so ragged the day they setup camp, she had to remove it. She was glad that she at least could leave her underwear on.
It was the second week since they mad camp. Life was pretty simple. They knew that someone was bound to come. A river was nearby and fresh fruit and rabbits were available sources of food. She really liked Jalkat more than Moromes, who seemed to be concerned mostly with survival and finding a road that led to a village or city, while Jalkat was interested in her.
She noticed a strange occurrence; the entity she saw in her dream appeared. Suddenly, these words poured into her head like a song: “I now ask you, have you any idea of what you are up against? The dead lady, Darlalyl, is twice as destructive as the Red Bureaucracy’s bomb they tested on Laften! Remember what it did?”
The words gave her a chill. Laften was a town that had been hiding a druid from the communists. The people said no so the Red Bureaucracy used it to test a bomb they made a month later. It chilled her with dread to think of what happened to that peaceful little town.
She then ran from it in terror. It followed her
Moromes then said, “Wot are you running from, lass? Are the-” He suddenly noticed the entity following her. He stopped, saying, “Bloody hell, it is that cloud thing!”
Then he switched on the radio to the nearest military base.
“Hello?”
“Moromes, is that you?” said a voice on the other side. “Thank god! We are in trouble! Necros are approaching the base!”
“Necros? Wot the bloody hell is that suppose to mean?”
“Infected individuals! Whatever you do, do not aim for the torso! They are not hurt by that! Aim for the head! It will kill them instantly!”
Morome turned off the radio as he saw a group of corpse-like men in rags, grey, with a rotting stench approaching the camp, moaning. He then said, “Let’s get going.” Then they brought out full out carnage upon the beings with his friends. The cats helped out as they fought off more approaching. Then a blast of white shot through ten of them from as a mysterious foreign word of an ancient tongue came from the entity. The evil forces fell like leaves before them as they proceeded through the evil hoard. The flashes of a blade came and heads rolled. None of the beings escaped.
Moromes then said after the battle, “oh great, now zombies are around! Does it get any more bloody weird?”
Jalkat suddenly said to Mormal something that he was waiting to say for awhile. “I love you!” Everybody seemed to stare at him for what seemed a minute and then Mormal smiled with the response, “I do to.”
Morome, in a state of confusion, said, “well, my rhetorically question has been answered.”

Chapter 7: Dawn

After cleaning up the corpses of the foul things, Mormal looked towards the horizon on a grassy, sloping hill. The sunset gleamed like a camp fire times a thousand. It was getting darker as she cut her four whiskers. They were longer and less even then she liked. It was not too cold for her. Jalkat came over and sat next to her. He touch his lips to her neck. Then Mormal put her arms around his waist and squeezed it. Jalkat hugged her. They let go after a few seconds.
Mormal then went by the camp, now not as ramshackled and small. She saw Morome as he was shaving his face. Mormal then started to trim her whiskers again. She got them were the whiskers were perfectly even and only one inch long. Moromes said,”well done, lass. You have a boyfriend, and you also get these nice blue set of posh robes that seem to be made of silk. They fit your size perfectly. He also gave us full purses of crowns.” Mormal put on the robes. They were trimmed with fur from some sort of bear-like creature.
The robe covered her like this: it had a belt that rapped around the waist and buttons on the left side of it. They went on by putting the bottom end over the head and lowering it until fully covered. The buttons, to, note a small detail, were of a strange green metal. She buttoned up and rapped the belt around the waist. Then she decided to check her tent.
She noticed something in her tent. It was a sheathed sword of what seemed to be steel, bu on a closer inspection noticed it was tinged blue. She lifted it and found it was light as her dagger. She put her dagger under her bed and put the sword by her side. Then she got her crossbow. It seemed to have runes carved in it that glowed with an aquatic green. She looked into the lenses and saw that everything was moving not only slower, but also as if living things glowed blue. She then saw Jalkat sitting by the fire telling the story of the night at the castle. She then sat by him and asked, “What are the enchantments on these things mean?”
Jalkat explained,” The ones on the scope mean slow time, show foe red, allies blue. The ones on the others mean fire. The ones on your blade are the same as the latter; used for causing fires, while the other will allow you to see foes and not kill allies. Handy?”
Mormal then replied, “Very,” and kissed him on his cheek. Jalkat blushed. The girl then grabbed a fish, cooked for both the jabbernaks and the entity by Morome. The entity did not eat though, since it is about as much substance to it as a cloud is for us.
Mormal then massaged the young jabbernaks face and nibbled on his ear. Jalkat then said, “Goodnight.”
Mormal was a bit tired and then sat down in her bed to sleep. She was interested in her items, and fell asleep with the weapons that allowed her to have good dreams for the first time in more than half a month.

Chapter 8: Movements

The room of the Red Bureaucracy Council is a small steel room with many shelves that have jars containing brains in them attached to a giant, singular computer. This is because the brains are the Council. The computer serves as a network were the Council communes to talk about the things going on in the world.
The Military sector is compromised of generals, admirals and intelligence leaders;Science has the leaders of cloning, engineering, space travel, and more; the final sector, Economic and Diplomacy, has the treasurer, diplomats, and leaders of the Economics, Science, and Military in it.
The Red Bureaucracy Council is right now discussing Mormal, Moromes, and Jalkat.
“They are a grave danger to our nation...” says the Military Sector, which is followed by a trade executive,”... and also a good profit increase for the mercenary who kills them. We are wasting valuable money on a small group of people. Send in a group of Pulverisers. They’ll deal with them as quick as if squashing a fly.”
“Yet they are in Empire territory,” choruses the diplomats.” This would bring war if we were to have a military movement in their territory.”
“Then we shall arrange an accident,” said an intelligence leader. All listened to his plan of assassination. They accepted it with satisfaction, knowing that it was well drawn out.

At the Empire border, a lone, humanoid figure appeared that blended in with the background. A soldier got closer toward the shape, unaware. Then a hatchet whipped into the hand of the figure hiding in the snow. The soldier suddenly was killed in the blink of an eye as the figure killed the poor man with his axe. The being was just a human, but wearing special armor to avoid detection. He got into the uniform, cleaned off the blood, and went toward the gate with the weapon the soldier was using.
This strange assassin was a Red Bureaucracy Recon Unit, deadly soldiers used for such missions. He knew they would take his items back. The Red Bureaucracy knows to do that on any mission.

Chapter 9: Recon Unit

The Recon Unit moved quietly through the ranks of soldiers to find Ralph. The aged jabbernak soldier saw the man and asked him, “What’s the name, boy?”
“Uh, Johnson, sir. It’s Johnson.”
Ralph was not sure he was telling the truth and looked at the face. Too perfect looking. Ralph then asked, “ Tell me, Johnson, if that is your real name, what is the code of the Empire soldiers?”
‘Johnson’, who was a clone actually like every red bureaucracy soldier, said, “ To...uh…up hold the rights of the…er…king and…er…kill the enemies…and-“ before the person could utter another word, Ralph took out his sword and slashed at the man.
The recon unit, acting on his instincts, did a roll to the left. The Jabbernak, knowing that the foe he was fighting could not be taken alone, pressed the button labeled, ‘Enemy Recon’ and dodged the knife thrown at were his head was. Ralph then did a slash at the legs, cutting one. The man then leaped at the knife imbedded in the wall, regardless of his wounded leg. Ralph moved his sword downward at the back. The sword pierced his left lung, but did not kill the man. The jabbernak removed the sword, blood flowing from the fresh wound.
The clone laughed until the jabbernak then slashed at the arm holding the knife. It fell to the ground. Then the clone said, “Had worse wounds in my time.”
Ralph responded in shock, “Your arm is completely off!”
“So? Still have had worse.”
“Your other ones going.”
Ralph then lowered his sword on his other arm, which fell to the ground similarly. Then the clone spoke out.
“Guess I will have to regenerate them in the lab. For now, I shall kick you to death!”
Ralph then cut both legs off in one sweep. Then the clone fell.
The sword finally sunk into the eye socket, killing the clone finally. Ralph Helski, soldier of the Empire, skilled with the sword due to the Special Weapon Society, had killed by himself an enemy he thought would be hard to defeat by himself. The jabbernak suddenly realized just how much blood was on the floor. This why he told the soldiers who entered the room, surprised to see the recon unit already dead, to clean the mess that was made from the fight. They did it grudgingly.

So... What do you think so far?
