I started writing a story a while ago but I, as I generally always have, based it on an interest I can feel has really began to fade. I have the story on a website called wattpad and I really want to finmish it I feel I am letting the readers down, and a lot of friends down I I don't finnish it. I really feel I'm not ready to lose this interest but as I clearly have no other choice does Nyone have any idea of how I can make myself continue to write this until it's finnished. I feel awful about this and my lapse of interest has only just started today but I know this time it is definatly on the way out. I really wish I could hold interest somehow till it's done.

I'm curious - do you write backwards, that is, from the end back to the beginning? Mainly that's how stories are written - you already know the ending so how you get there, the journey, is the fun part. The reason I ask is, if you don't want to abandon the story, maybe you can have someone else finish the rest since you'd already know how it's supposed to end.
