Eminem comes out from the Aspergers closet in these songs stated below.

Wicked Ways, and Legacy from Eminems new album
The Marshall Mathers LP 2.

"Guess I got a way with words, I could get away with murder
Ever heard of Aspergers’? It’s a rare condition
It’s what you’re suffering from when you simply don’t care if it’s an
80 degree day and there’s no fricken air conditioning
And you can’t see the b***h’s hair is frizzing
Cause you got the windows up blaring the system in your Chevrolet Prism
The devil ain’t on the level same as him
Picture someone who revels in straight masochism
And imagine him giving him an adjective an ass whooping
So bad they should put his ass in prison
A word bully, I verbally abuse verbs like they did something to me personally

I used to be the type of kid that, would always think the sky is falling
Why am I so differently wired, am I a martian
What kind of twisted experiment am I involved in
Cause I don’t belong in this world
That’s why I’m scoffin’ at authority, defiant often
Flyin’ off at the handle with my mom, no dad
So I’m non-compliant at home, at school I’m just shy and awkward
And no I don’t need no goddamn psychologist
Tryna diagnose why I have all these underlying problems
Thinking he can try and solve ‘em, I’m outside chalking up
Drawings on the sidewalk and in the front drive talking to myself
Either that or inside hiding off in
The corner somewhere quiet, tryin’ not to be noticed
Cause I’m crying and sobbing
I had a bad day at school so I ain’t talkin’
Some cocksucker shoved me into a f****n’ locker
Cause he said that I eye-balled him

I used to be the type of kid that, would always think the sky is falling
Why am I so differently wired in my noggin
Cause sporadic as my thoughts come, it’s mind boggling
Cause I obsess on everything, in my mind small s**t bothers me
But now my father, he said sayonara, then split
But I don’t give a s**t, I’m fine long as
There’s batteries in my Walkman
Nothing is the matter with me
s**t look at the bright side at least I ain’t walkin’
I bike ride through the neighborhood of my apartment
Complex on a ten-speed which I’ve acquired parts that I
Find in the garbage, a frame and put tires on it
Headphones on, look straight ahead if kids try and start s**t

I used to be the type of kid that, would always think the sky is falling
Now I think the fact that I’m differently wired’s awesome
Cause if I wasn’t, I wouldn’t be able to work
Words like this and connect lines like crosswords
And use my enemy’s words as strength
To try and draw from, and get inspired off ‘em”

Exactly my thought, i'm born in 86' and I started listen to him when i was 13, The Slim Shady LP... I have always connected with his lyrics his twisted humour and so on, him being an Aspie really explains why I always felt so connected with his music :)

Is he the first celebrity with Asperger's to actually acknowledge it in such a public fashion?

Gary Numan has talked publicly about having Asperger's.

Actress Darryl Hannah recently came out

Dan Aykroyd has talked about it

In his case people are wondering because Asperger diagnoses was not being made back when he was a teen.

As mentioned Gary Numan is the man

He moves in a familiar way. He touches his face and head a lot, putting his hand in front of his mouth while he's talking--just like me--and he rocks in a really low-key way. It seems more like a whole-body fidget than a stim, but I guess that's what those things are.

If Eminem is Aspie-- and it's not clear from the lyrics whether he's talking about himself, or taking some angst-ridden future school shooter's perspective (which would probably be the first useful thing he's done in several albums now)-- I'm going to plead misdiagnosis and retest under DSM5. This time, I'll answer "NO" to all the things I've learned to compensate for.

He's got a great voice. Wonderful sense of rhythm. Some really great rhymes.

He just also happens to be up there with Adam Lanza on the short list of company I don't care to keep.

BARF!! !! !! !

Word up!

At one point, Eminem was in talks to star in the movie Elysium in the lead role, but he turned the role down.
