They are one of my favorite bands (I can't get into This War, but love everything else they've put out!)

Who else here listens to these guys, such great young talented. They sound like Killswitch Engage but better with vastly superior vocals I think.

Speaking of which, Jesse Leach and former Killswitch Engage vocalist released a cool album together under the moniker Times of Grace, which is a sweet album and similar.

Who here is interested in hearing how enw Killswitch ENgage will sound after hearing how improved Jesse's screams are? They improved a lot and his singing is as strong as it is in Seemless!

I really liked the old Killswitch Engage band and vocalist, who blew out his speaker box from such intense vocals. That dude was intense. I don't like the black guy, just not the same, not as aggressive. The old KSE is one of the only kind of "trendy" bands that I've stuck to liking. Seemless is just not the same, but I understand why.

That's the problem..he tried too hard to be aggressive and lost his ability to be coherent in the process. Jesse rocks in Times of Grace and hopefully will be great in new Killswitch Engage as well.

Just listening to this cd I bought many years ago "Alive or Just Breathing"... it brings me back. I hope Jesse is great to. This CD is great I still enjoy it. Just the right amount of aggressive metal with enough melody... Such a good balance here. Aren't these guys a Christian metal band?

y are; the music itself are wonderful and the lyrics are nice; the singing is phenomenal, but 90% of the album was screams (I sued to own it.)

Yeah the lyrics are pretty good, very positive which is a bit rare for a lot of metal. I thought they were more of growls. Screams remind me of the stuff that you hear on screamo/emo bands which I can't stand, it's like nails on a chalkboard especially live. One thing that is nice about the growls/screams whatever they are, is that you can understand most of it without listening very closely. You mean you didn't want to own it?

No, there was a time I liked Killswitch Engage. The vocals though weren't anything I could get into and then I found Across the SUn. Then Times of Grace released the album which made me curious in Seemless. I have no intentions of re-buying the album, I have better similar albums.
