…and you can only take one book. What would it be?

I’d take Songs of Innocence and Experience by William Blake.

I love Blake’s art and lyrics and I could easily spend the rest of my life trying to unravel the mysteries in this masterpiece. :D

I'd prefer to take a book with a title of something like "How to Escape when Marooned on a Desert Island".

If not that, perhaps a book on how to survive on a desert island including recipes.

It's a tossup between "Bushcraft", or "The Combat Leader's Field Guide".

The former deals with wilderness survival methods, while the latter teaches you what to do when the cannibals show up.

Something by Bret Easton Ellis. Maybe 1984.

A book on the local flora and fauna with respect to what is edible and what is not. Barring that, The Bible.

Something with a lot of pages, so I could start more than one fire with it.

I imagine an Encyclopedia of Animals would suffice.
