This count? It's a eurodance song, but man it's an amazing song.

This too is some eurodance from UK I like, hell, UK entered this in Eurovision in 96.

90s Britpop what I am threading about is the mid 90s British Indie rock bands I can name some of them Blur, Pulp, Oasis, Supergrass, The Verve, The Charlatans, Elastica etc. I am going through an obsession of listening to them bands at the moment

I love britpop. Along with the bands you mentioned I would recommend Suede, Ocean Colour Scene, The Bluetones, Ash, Shed Seven, Embrace and super furry animals although you probably know about these already.

Embrace make me cringe.

I would recommend the Super Furry Animals, though. I used to be obsessed with them when I was a teenager.

I still listen to the first embrace album and early b-sides but I get why people find them a bit cheesy. The longpigs are pretty cool too, I wish there were more bands like this about at the moment.

The only kind I ever heard during this time is the Spice Girls. I take it I am missing out on quite a bit.

I'm not huge on Britpop but:

I like more than a few songs by Oasis, Blue, OCS, and Elastica. And though Throwing Muses may not count, I also like their mid-90s work (see "Bright Yellow Gun" and "Shimmer" - reminds me of Elastica but with better lyrics)

Yesyes. I like the post-britpop bands too, and the early indie and Madchester scene that influenced Britpop. I think my own take on 90s is a bit weird, I consider Britpop to be the scene I grew up to, and 90% of people remember the 90s differently, eg. Dance-pop, boy and girl groups, etc. I sometimes wish I had normal memories like everyone else, people don't believe me when I say it.

I used to be hugely into Blur, and now I'm not. I'm still an Oasis fan but I shifted into preferring Noel over Liam along the way. I really think Suede are underrated, but I prefer Richard to the others, especially Brett; he's an arrogant frontman, but I liked his first solo album, and I was actually into The Tears too. I love the less heard-of Britpop bands who were more like Suede like Strangelove and Marion. I like These Animal Men, did anyone hear of them? They remind me of Marion and Mansun (the latter are post-britpop). Did anyone hear the band Andy Bell was in before Oasis, Hurricane #1? I was into their first album...

OK, LOL, I used to be a bit of a brit-nutter.

Edit: I prefer Sleeper to Elastica.

Edit 2: I liked Travis, but I haven't followed them into the 2000s. Good tunes, though.
