(Skip a minute in)

This is the first video I've done of my singing and it has been uploaded for a preview of what to expect on my solo material...thoughts anyone?

The singing is pretty bad and off key/out of tune to the point where I physically cringed at various parts throughout the recording, but the screaming could work with the right instrumentals I guess (but I'm no expert on that sort of thing). Luckily for you singing is a skill that can be learned, so you might want to look into getting singing lessons if this is something you're passionate about.

Yeah, was nervous about recording vocals. Thanks for the honesty.

Unfortunately nervousness is pretty much the worst voice-killer there is! I find that doing a few breathing exercises can help a lot, as well as simple stuff like taking long, deep breaths before singing, adjusting my body posture (chin up, chest out), and opening my throat as wide as possible. They're little things but they all go a long way.

True, but I'm more of a guitarist/bassist anyways...

Mods can close this at whim, I removed the video.
