How many of you follow the music of Depeche mode ?

I seen them in concert back in 1987, & went to Milton Keynes as they were featured at a Radio one roadshow around 1987 too.

They've stayed mostly together since 1981 , surviving the test of time etc.

I'm *considering seeing them again during their 2013 tour*, as they give a great live performance, but I've a feeling this may be their final tour. (*If I can afford it & have someone to go with who's also an ardent DM follower)

But to some, is'nt that delibarate & partly another reason why people like them ?

From 1995 - 2000 they went some wierd ways that showed in their lyrics & video's, edgeing towards the darker side of religion, but they've mellowed out more down to earth now.

I saw them at Wembley Arena in 1990.
I like their early stuff.

I have everything from ‘Some Great Reward’ through to ‘Songs of Love And Devotion’ but doubt I’ll check out much else.
I usually only come back to the singles from each album which almost always seem to be the best tracks while a good portion of the other songs simply seem to be filler.
There are a few exceptions but with ‘Some Great Reward’ it’s ‘People Are People’ and ‘Blasphemous Rumors’. With ‘Black Celebration’ it’s ‘A Question of Time’ and ‘But Not Tonight’. With “Music For the Masses” it’s ‘Behind the Wheel’ and ‘Never Let Me Down Again’ etc.
However “Violator” is the one album I’ve heard that is a gem from beginning to end with hardly any (if any) filler.
