Sorry if there's already a thread on this.

I love listening to classical music when I'm stressed out; it really does have a calming effect. There's a radio station here that plays only classical and I've been listening to it a lot lately. Anyone else?

Yes. Some.
I listen to classical music sometimes when I'm tired.

I listen to it all the time. In fact, it is a part of what I do in college. As a music major, I deal with classical music all the time. I'm also a bass clarinet player in the music department. I mostly enjoy listening to band music, smooth jazz, and orchestral music from 20th century composers.

I like a few pieces of classical music, and somtimes I listen to a couple of them many repeated times the whole day.
In fact, after reading this, I am just listening Toccata&Fuga D minor from Bach, which is my favorite.

Not exactly "classical", but I enjoy listening to Wendy Carlos's "Switched on Bach".

I do sometimes listen to classical music but after a while listening to it on the radio (Classic FM) does get a little repetitive. So I usually listen to either the new jazz station called theJazz or the main radio station of the Irish national broadcaster, RTÉ Radio 1.

I like all Bach, most Beethoven, some Mozart, some Schubert, some Mahler, some Debussy and some Wagner.

Mostly Bach though.

I love contrapuntal music, especially fugues.

I adore it. I especially prefer Baroque music and actual classical... Beethoven, Mozart... and I like Chopin and Mendelssohn. And some select opera arias.

Sort of in that I like a lot of what most people call classical music but I don't really like much actual classical period music.

I like some Bach but mostly prefer music from the Romantic Period and on.

I like Chopin(mostly nocturnes, preludes and piano etudes), Rachmaninov(Piano Concertos), Bruch(Violin Concertos), Impressionist composers(A lot of Debussy and Ravel) and 20th Century stuff (especially Penderecki and Ligeti).

I also love a load of other music but those are some favourites off the top of my head.

Yes, I love most Bach (particularly Brandenburg Concertos & Goldberg Variations), several things by Mussorgsky, Albinoni's Adagio. I don't listen to it often, though, I have to be in a very specific mood.

I'm a big Bach fan myself. I have both of Glenn Gould's recordings of the "Goldberg Variations".
I get most of my music from my local NPR station:
