Due to the fact that people don't only like Elves, I am putting this up so you can also talk about your dwarves. If anyone is wondering, their will be more.

Mine are a race of Hill-dwelling humanoids that stand three feet tall. Their eyes are a dull blackish-brown, and the skin grey. The hair(which is long and straight) is usually black or brown, but it can also be a vibrant, deep red. They have pointed ears. They, however, hate elves and the forests, but are good builders.They hate orcs also.

Another race like dwarves appear in the Jabbernak world, but they or Five-foot six, and are silicon based lifeforms that happen to be humanoid and live in mountains. They are called Dramer.


What are yours like?

Dwarves are actually 3 feet and four inches tall instead of 3 feet tall on average.

Dwarves are more or less stout, and built like diggers. They have a fat layer that is a half as thick as that of a seal for heat. The arms are long and muscular.

An important note is that the woman have strange proportions that cause them to look curvier than most human female, and they usually have larger mammary glands. The females also grow no beard, unlike the males, who all have beards. Also, the thighs are usually large. Males, however, have bodies that are evened out. The skin is also more rough on males, while females have smoother skin.

Also, a question for those who read this: are the dwarves ugly or attractive? Let me know!

I've always imagined a Dwarf woman with a beard like a male. Except she is not as burly and lighter on her toes. The six fingers thing never made sense to me. Why do Dwarves need six fingers? What's wrong with five?

For some reason, I see Dwarves with four toes, however. It just sticks in my head.

General traits:

• Generally neutral/non-interventionist in surface intrigue
• Tendency toward obstinacy, frequently greedy
• Underground:aboveground population ratios in dwarven-ruled nations generally high
• International mingling generally only at sufficiently populated locations with significant surface population
• Magical ability low, generally superseded by cinematic gadgeteering abilities or access to better technology

• Average height roughly 3'6", weight generally close to 100lb
• Endurance and toughness well above human, but average running speed lower by around 20%
• Lifting strength above average
• Skin and liver notably tough (also good against poisons other than ethanol), eyes well adapted for infravision
• Armor made for other species(/races) will not fit without a difficult Smith check for the appropriate metal
