Hello,

My name is Allie and I was diagnosed with Asperger's last year at the age of 34 after suspecting it for about 10 years. I like to contemplate about how my life would have been different if I was diagnosed at an early age so I did a creative writing piece "imagining" that I was born in 1996 instead of 1976. I want some HONEST feedback on this piece (yes, I know some people like to tell Aspies that too much honest is not good at times but this is a time when I DO want the criticism). I'd like you to tell me if it's too wordy and how I can make it come to life more. I'm trying to hone my writing skills as I'm going back to school this fall to train for a new career.

You can check it out at http://www.myaspergerslifestory.com/if_ ... _1996.html

That's a very good article. I've enjoyed it very much. Did you get it published? You should. :)
