I've spent many years working on abstract art and digital photography. Although I don't work in these areas professionally, I do have a graphic design degree and consider myself an expert in the subject.

My attention has shifted to other things lately so I don't produce new artwork very often... but I would love to help out new artists. PM me if you need any help with art, photography, or Photoshop.

Some of the images are out of proportion. The forum doesn't resize them correctly.
[Mod. edit - fixed that for you]

I love abstract art, but I make all my works the old fashioned way. Usually with paint or a combination of paint and ink pens.

The second photo from the top is interesting. At first I thought that it was a manipulation where the top of image was a snow landscape that transitioned into a beach landscape. I had to look closer to see that it was all a beach scene. It's lovely though.

The colours in the last two abstract works are wonderful. They work really well together. I also like the depth of them.

Great work!

Thank you :)

It's funny, I only started getting into abstracts with Photoshop. Before that I would pick a photo out of a magazine to draw and use pencil or colored pencil. I never liked paints or pastel, too finicky and messy to work with.

Please don't post images larger than 800x600 because they will not be scaled correctly by the forum software.
Resize them before posting here.

For very large images it's more polite to provide thumbnail image with a link to the full-sized versions along with an indication that if clicked, a large image download will result.
Not everyone has a super-fast net connection and by including them in the thread, everyone looking at it is forced to download them whether they wanted to or not.

Beautiful photographs, Lumineaus. What model camera are you using?
