Choose an exit, or for that matter, a wall. Use the helmet to find a nearby bomb, while using my cov-ops skills to avoid being seen. When the bomb is disabled I take it next to the exit, detonate it on a timer, or through the wrist communicator if I am capable enough to make the bombs detonate remotely, alhough... better disable any kind of remote detonation capabilities and just make them timed just in case tue bad guy is a good enough hacker to figure out the detonation signal. Take cover, make it explode, and go out in my merry way. Those jerks who forgot about my birthday can **** off
Unless I am really a superhero, then I can't let them come to harm, can I? Gathering them all would take time, and I'd have to systematically disable every bomb and use a single gunshot on every camera, but my super helmet should be able to see the first either for the signals they emit, or for the magnetic field generated by the wirings. Do I have any reason to confront the psychopath other than being a superhero who must confront the villain? He could be the pragmatic kind, and just leave him inside the school and call for reinforcements. Can the mutant do anything from inside the camera room outside watching? Or would he go out and try to confront the hero at some point?
You bring a good point with the helmet.
About the villain: before the hero (Sean "Alphaboy" Gillespie) was adopted at birth by the Alpha Committee, they tried their hand at in-utero genetic alteration on another surrogate mother. Zachary "Zauzer" Hauser was the result. However, due to sabotage by his mother, he was mutated in the womb into a Xenomorph-lookalike. It also made him into a psycho. He graduated from Sean's school a few years ago, where he garnered a reputation as the local weirdo.
Zauzer killed his loving adoptive family because they were "too lovey-dovey." Being a sicko, he couldn't stand it. He developed a sinister plan, and put it into action. He wants to show Sean's adoptive mother, Mary, as well as the rest of the Alpha Committee, that he's the better creation. After all, good is old-fashioned!
Sean/Alphaboy, who really doesn't want to have a big birthday or be a hero, has no choice but to confront Zauzer. For one, he ruined his day. Despite his Bruce Willis-esque attitude (and not to mention
mouthiness), he also has an obligation to do good due to the morals instilled in him by Mary.
