I was diagnosed with Aspergers at the age of 30. On discovering my diagnosis my brother remarked "Oh that explains a few things...We always just thought you were a bit of a c**t"

I worked in numerous manual factory jobs for years before realising I neither liked doing that and did not have to do it. I am now studying History and Celtic History at Glasgow Univeristy.

I am in my second year. I am also a hyper-realist painter. Please check out my site if you are so inclined. WWW.SAATCHIONLINE.COM/ROSSVANGOGH

I don't say I have Aspergers on the site. I don't want to be known as an "Autistic artist" just an artist.

I also write plays. Two plays that I have written have been preformed by Glasgow University student theatre groups.

I can be shy to an extreme degree. I hardly ever speak in public. I have read around 20000 books in my life. I have probably spoken less words aloud in nearly 33 years. I have only of late began to discover my voice.

Discovering your voice in more ways than one. I'm glad.

Absolutely adore your stuff matey!

Not usually a fan of hyper-realism. I'd be happy to discuss it with you if you're interested. As an artistic conversation and not I just hate it because...not that I exactly hate it.

But I really like the humour and irony of the work titled 'Mary Updating Her Status...' That's clever. As fan of Kurt Cobain, the print meets my approval too. I also like the pattern of the trees in 'Lonely Girl Walking in Kelvingrove Park' But the colour in 'Angry Red Sky Over Glasgow University' is phenomenal. You have an amazing grasp of technique. You really do.

I tend to lean towards more abstract painting myself. I find pattern and texture interesting. I suppose the things that people normally overlook or don't appreciate.

Keep on painting!

Wow, that's about all I have to say. Your artwork is downright amazing! While I will say that the photo-realistic style isn't my favorite, you obviously have an incredible degree of talent, and it is great to see that you're putting it to good use! Have you had any of it shown at a gallery yet? I think that it's more than good enough for one if that's a goal of yours. I'm normally a pretty harsh critic when it comes to art too!

I'll look forward to seeing more of your work in the future, I really wish you all the best with it!
