I've been reading The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb. I really liked the first book, the second started to get a bit intense and I'm not sure I'm going to finish the third. I'm finding it quite traumatic and it's making my GAD / cPTSD worse. I feel like a big sooky la la  I may return to reading the Bruno Chief of Police series by Martin Walker. They are nice easy reads.

Vetius And His Friends, by David Drake.

Anthology of historical dark fantasy, involving Roman soldier Vetius, and his comrade the wealthy merchant Dama, who combat foes both natural and supernatural that threaten 4th century Imperial Rome. So far a fun read. Drake's writing is very reminiscent of the late, great Robert E. Howard.

Paralyzed.

When one of two serial killers/rapists is left paralyzed from the neck down, the other tries to revitalize his friend, as much as he begs to die. Grim horror novel written by Matt Shaw, a new light in horror fiction.

Gracefully Grayson by Ami Polonsky. It's about a transgender girl who gets the lead role in the school play.

Branwell by Douglas Martin (About the troubled life of Branwell Brontë). Incredible.

Just finished Lynn Weingarten's "Bad girls with pretty faces". I had hoped it'd be exciting seeing as it was called a thriller. It was boring.
