"Came Back Haunted" is a great song but when I found out the music vid "may cause seizures" I got way nervous about watching it because I am candid that I have not only Asperger's but I have bipolar and I'm on meds for it, so I'm not sure if I have epilepsy or not. Has anyone seen the movie or has had to avoid it because they know what it's all about? Other than that I am excited to have them back on tour and maybe I'll be lucky to see them myself...just disappointed in Trent Reznor, well, doing something so drastic although it's not all too surprising considering NTs know what they're in for.
Anyhow, can any NIN fans help me out?
Thanks
~VW girl

photosensitive epilepsy is *extremely* rare...and if you did have it, you'd know it by now. you have nothing to worry about.

I saw the video for the new single. I don't remember it being particularly jarring, just jumpy. Have you checked out How to Destroy Angels?

I have epilepsy, but I'm not photosensitive. I play tons of video games :D

well, I saw the video finally and to be frank I was more embarrassed that I was worried--and a tad disappointed in the lack of creativity put into the video (sorry to sound so biased), but anyway yes, more embarrased to freak out than just laugh about it. It was awfully jumpy with not so much visual excitement. just flashing lights.

Yeah, HTDA is a good band and I own their first CD. A Drowning is my favorite song. yeup, I would love to see a lot more of NIN than I ever did when I finally started listening to them as a late-bloomer period in high school. hah, don't ask, it's a personal story but yes, now I won't ever end my appreciation for those kinds of bands.
