Autistic universe

I have been toying with the idea of a sci fi story where people from a parallel universe where the genes and the epigenetic factors that causes autsim are common finds a way to cross over to other universes, and ends up in ours. And their first thought is, off course:"Lets set a course for the Earth in this universe". (who wouldn't do that in their situation?)
What I am asking for is help to construct the universe they come from. I wan't suggestions for historical persons, how civilizations, societies and cultures would have developed with them, what kind of philosophies they would have thoght up. Do you think they would have thought up consepts like sin, or that moral is something that is objective? Would they make up religion in order to explain things they did not understand at the time, or do you think a race of auties would not be capable of starting things like that? And I am particularry interested in ideas for bad things that could arise as a result of having a majority that thinks in an autistic maner(And I mean bad at a holocaust level. I am asking for bad things because I don't wan't to "romantitise" the parallel universe to much). I would also apreciate autistic character ideas, and please give some of your own views on what being autistic means when it comes to behavior.
What I have thought up this far(please come with arguments against if you have any):
Stoneage: Something I think would be a basic problem is killing for food(that is necessary because meat is rich in protein which can be used to grow larger brains, so one can make better tools, and then catch better food, and then grow bigger brains, and then make better tools so one can catch better food and so on). I myself got problems killing sentient beings, and it seems to be one of those traits that many auties(specially aspies) seem to share. This is my solution: The autistic humans in this universe begin to use fire to scare lions(I thought the story of these humans should start, as in our universe, at the savannah) away from prey thay have killed. Then the humans can eat without killing animals themselves, and then later begins to use the fire to chase prey into the vacinity of predators, which later leeds to domestication of the predators(because we basically make it easier for them).
A few millenia after we have developed society: In our universe, some technologies was in their infacy many centuries before they were taken in use. Eks: In the 1st century AD, the engineer Hero of Alexandria created a machine resembling a steamengine(link:Wikipedia: History of the steam engine). the baghdad batteries are artifacts from either the Parthian or the Sassaniad period, which is capable of producing electricity(link: Wikipedia: History of the battery). And off course the Antikythera mechanism, which is basically a simple computer(Link: Wikipedia: Antikythera mechanism). And it took so long time before these things were further developed, and that after they have gone lost and the principles had to be rediscovered. I am thinking about not having that delay(This contains, as you can see, parallels to our universe when it comes to technology, because I have a limited imagination).
And the idea that some people are more worth then others because of how they look did never arise, and if it did then it did not last long enough for anyone to remember it, because it is such an illogical and ridicolous idea.

Take a look at mechanical races in Science Fiction. They have a tendency to be more logical and less emotional. I recomend looking into Star Trek which covers the idea of a species which is totally logical due to their religion(Vulcans), and an android which seeks to understand emotions although doesn't feel any(Data in Next Gen).
