This is for songs you got into when they first became popular.

Kind of embarrassing now but I was little kid and cheesy but catchy songs with rhymes appealed and I got into endless loops that drove adults nuts.

Got into that na na na riff over and over

The first CD I was bought held no interest for me, but the second, Europop by Eiffel 65, contained the track "Blue", which I'll still listen to occasionally (and is currently on an advert her in the UK).

My earliest pop song memory is listening to Mariah Carey on my tape player in the back of my dad's car. I remember my dad was really into Depeche Mode. My mom was into Green Day and Metallica and would play her music really loud while cleaning the house.

Backstreet Boys and NSYNC, both were popular in the 1990s.

I started listening to pop music at the time of the British Invasion in the 1960's, so my first memories are of those. I was (and am) also a fan of Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound" recordings.
