World War Z
Slaughterhouse Five
Fahrenheit 451
War Of The Worlds
The Time Machine
Lord Of The Flies
Children Of Men

1984 - I find this more chilling then anything else. I think that the film version and John Hurt and Richard Burton captured the horrifying nature of an inhuman totalitarian state superbly.
