Hi everyone,

What are some books that are similar to 100 Years of Solitude?
My NT sister and I are considering this book to purchase for our mom as a Mother's Day present, so if you of any similar books, it would be much appreciated. :)

There's nothing like 100 Years of Solitude haha that book is something else.

This may be a dumb answer, but if she hasn't read them, other Marquez books are the closest thing! Love in the Time of Cholera?

It's the most stolen book in the world.
When I tried to buy a copy it was very hard to find.
I had to ask at the desk and they brought it out for me.

I'd recommend The House of the Spirits, by Isabel Allende (Published in Argentina, 1982)
