:o Has anyone here heard of the American author Louis Auchincloss ? ( He is very old . )
There is an article about him in this week's THE NEW YORKER . ( www.newyorker.com )
He comes across as a bit Aspie-ish .

...Well , I didn't mean that in the sense of " I don't know about him . " , I just meant that as " Does anybody wanna talk about him ????? " !
That good ol' Aspie literalness at woik , here , me boyo :) ?????????
That said , thank you , as well , I'm not that used to " checking Wiki " for everything , tho I do , some .
I had already read what the TNY piece ( Which I suppose may not be free on-line . ) seems to say was his most financially successful novel , at least , and knew who he was even before that , anyway .
Some aspects of his personality/mindset come off a bit as " one of us " .
He's 90 years old , and , given that Norman Mailer , his fellow post-WWII New Yorker , is mentioned in brief in the article...their personalities/images seem , at least in the simplified sense , to be about as different as possible ! !! !! !! !! !! :P
