Here's a poem I wrote quite a long time ago. It's always gotten good feedback so I thought I'd post it here. I hope you like it.

Vanity

Oh Vanity, is there no escaping you?
More and more you are everywhere
You are there when I shave and comb my hair
You are in my catalogs and magazines
You are there in my favorite TV shows and movies
I am tired of you Vanity
I want you out of my life
And the lives of my family and friends
You think it's difficult to do away with you?
Ah, not so fast.
I'm replacing you with a pedestal sink.
