Getting stuck on an artist/record

I've been doing this my whole life, getting obsessed with a band or singer or record and playing the same songs over and over for weeks. A few months ago it was wall to wall Lana Del Rey, now it's The Beatles, especially Revolver and The White Album. "And Your Bird Can Sing" is imo the best rock song ever recorded except maybe for "Like a Rolling Stone." There are really no skips on Revolver except "Yellow Submarine." I skip lots of Paul's granny music on the The White Album, but that record is loaded with cool songs like "Savoy Truffle" and "Sexy Sadie." "Birthday" is a master class in drums. Ringo is THE MAN.

I once got stuck on Three Dog Night's "Mama Told Me Not to Come" but forgot to bring it with me on a trip, so I forced my brother to buy it on his phone so I wouldn't lose my mind. I don't like that song now.

So who else listens to the same albums over and over every night for weeks on end?

Maybe before the cassette.
Being able to compile your favourites made that less desirable.
