Do you like reading diaries?

Doesn't matter whether we're talking about journal intime of a real person which was published after an author's death (queen Victoria's, Lucy Maud Montgomery's, count Galeazzo Ciano's, Anne Frank's) or about quite fictional diary written by quite fictional person (Adrian Mole, Bridget Jones, Georgia Nicolson). Whose diaries are your favourite ones?

Personally I am a big fan of Adrian Mole's adventures, I like also reading Mrs Montgomery's diaries (only two first volumes because the rest wasn't published in my country) - I loved her novels as a kid and I was happy I could know her private life better.

I really enjoy reading the diaries of Anais Nin. Diaries are a favorite of mine.

-The Journals of Sylvia Plath
-The Diaries of Franz Kafka

And an art journal:
-The Journey is the Destination: The Journals of Dan Eldon


Those are a few, of many many.

The last autobiography I read was Jackson’s „The Moonwalk”. Nothing special to tell the truth. It’s nice but way too short and cursory. (Years ago I read also Janet’s autobiography).

The Princess Diaries books are great (the movies were a bit too Disneyfied for my taste, though).

Though I think it's kind of illogical that this girl sits in class all through high school writing in her diary, and she didn't ONCE get the diary stolen and read to the entire class by some a**hole.
