I'm not too much of a fan of rap honestly but my brother likes the song.

My daughter loves this song...I could see Weird Al making a parody of this song.

I heard it on Last Call with Carson Daily. I liked the live performance done there better than the recording but it's not online anywhere. There are other live performances on youtube but they're usually bad quality or you can hear the crowd too much.

The group Flobots, I'd suggest looking them up on Myspace, at least.

And I think they're a hip-hop group, not rap. I find that while I can't stand most rap, I actually enjoy some hip-hop.

So what's the distinction between hip-hop and rap?

I don't ordinarily like rap, but I like this song.

I especially like the fact that it manages to do the self-aggrandizing thing, but only superficially, in a meaningful context. Caught me completely off guard. At first I mistook it for some kind of standard rap song, but then as it progressed it built off of that initial misinterpretation wonderfully.

Actually, the band re-recorded it for their major label debut Fight With Tools, which came out early this year.

This is one of those songs that gets played non-stop on my local alternative rock station, and i've really grown to like it.

pffft, that's nothing, I can ride a bicycle without handlebars - and standing ;) Much easier when going downhill. I do get bored waiting so I put my hands in my pockets 8) Recovering from a pothole is a major skill to have
